Peter M. Morase, Old Time Resident of Lewistown, Dies
Lewistown, March 14--Peter M. Morase, 59, son of Lewistown's first residents, died here yesterday noon of pneumonia, though he had only been ill for three days.
A chronic mild ailment had caused him to retire from his position with the Power Mercantile here about a year ago, but his health had improved somewhat since that time.
He was born in Malta in 1876, and came to this city shortly afterward with his parents, who were prominent in Lewistown's growth. A city street here is named after the Morase family.
Mr. Morase's wife died here about a year ago. He is survived by two children, three sisters and two brothers.
