Amanda C. Westerfield, widow of Levi Westerfield passed away at her farm northeast of Carthage in Marion Township, Jasper county, Missouri.
She and her husband came here from Barbourville, Kentucky in 1880 and purchased the farm they lived on.

Cause of death was paralysis due to Parkinson's disease.

Funeral services were handled by the Knell Mortuary of Carthage, Missouri and burial was in the Ale family plot in Park Cemetery
