John William Carr, age 76, died Wednesday, December 28 at Watkins Memorial Hospital. Services held Friday, 10 AM, Pine Grove Baptist Church with Revs. J. E. Traylor and Dolan Mayo officiating. Interment in church cemetery.
Survivors - wife, Mrs. Lee Ora Shirley Carr; a son, Cecil N. Carr, Pascagoula; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Gray, Meridian; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Mayo and Mrs. Curtis Davis, Quitman; one brother, Willie Carr, Quitman; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
