Born July 8,1923 in Belle Vernon,he was the son of the late Thurman Huey and Anna Miller Blacka.
He had resided in Rostraver TWP.since 1951.
Mr. Blacka was an employee of the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp., Monessen Plant, in charge of environmental protection. he as a veteran of World war II. Having served as a lieutenant junior grade in the US Navy.
Survivors include his widow, Jean Jones Blacka;
three sons, Thurman H Blacka III of monongahela R.D 2. and Bruce and bryan Blacka, both at home, a daughter Mrs. Harold (Keran) Work of Weirton. W Va., and three grandchildren.
Freinds will be received in the Shelby D Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave, today from 7 to 9 pm.
