Harry A. Edwards, Sr., 96, of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at Provena Mercy Center. He was born April 20, 1907 in Batavia, IL son of the late Harry A. and Elizabeth (Alexander) Edwards.
    Harry was employed at Barber-Greene for 26 years until his retirement in 1969.
    He is survived by his children, Richard (Marlys) Edwards of Aurora, IL, Sue (Fred) Wilson of Farmington, MO, Harry (Cathy) Edwards, Jr. of Batavia, IL, Bradley (Vella) Edwards of Azle, TX, Kathy Jackson of Aurora, IL, Sharon Stigall of Camden, TN, George (Valerie) Edwards of Aurora, IL, Mary (Jim) Campbell of Aurora, IL, John (Mary) Edwards of Oak Forest, IL and Tim (Kris) Edwards of Plano. Harry is also survived by 110 grand and great-grandchildren.
    Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie May Edwards in 1985; three sons, Roy, Jim and Joe and two children in infancy, Shirley and Robert as well as three sisters, Mamie Skoff, Esther Henson and Margaret Rehor.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2003 at 1 p.m. from The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora. Visitation will be on Friday, May 23, 2003 from 5-8 p.m. at The Healy Chapel, Aurora. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
