BURIAL TODAY

One-of the first automobile dealers
in Hendricks County and a life
long resident of the county passed
away Tuesday morning at the Lyn
hurst Nursing Home in Indianapolis
J. O. Tinder was 90 years of
age having been born in Hendricks
County on July 7, 1868.
He was married in 1890 to Mar-
garet Tout who passed away in
1954, three years after they
celebrated their golden wedding
anniversary.
Having been one of the first auto-
mobile dealers in the county, he
sold Buicks and Chrysler cars on
the square in Danville from 1913
until 1933. Prior to and after that
time he was a farmer. He was a
member of the Danville Christian
church and former member of the
Knights of Pythias.
Funeral services will be held this
(Thursday) morning at 10:30 0'
clock at the Weaver Funeral Home
in Danville. Rev. Max Rees will
conduct the services. Burial will
be in South cemetery, Danville.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs.
H. C. Little of Danville, one sister
Mrs. Kitty Mann of Indianapolis,
and two granddaughters.
