Sarah M. Speed was the daughter of Benjamin Robert Speed & Ellender Betsy Duckworth. She married cira. 1874 in MS to John Quitman Robertson

Death of Mrs. J. Q. Robertson

The many friends here of Mrs. J. Q. Robertson of Ward Prairie, were shocked to learn of her sudden death last Friday morning. She was found dead in the yard or garden.

Mrs. Robertson had been in bad health for years, and her death was expected at any time, yet it came as a shock to the family and friends. Her remains were interred in the Lake Chapel Cemetery the following day.

Mr. & Mrs. J. Q. Robertson lived in this section many years, were consecrated Christians, with a host of friends and Mr. Robertson has the sympathy of all in the loss of his life companion.
