William Love, who has been quite sick since last Sunday, died yesterday afternoon. He took down rather suddenly with kidney and heart trouble and was soon unconscious. The funeral will be from the residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock and the remains buried in the Mitchell cemetery.

Wm. Raymond Love was born near Loogootee, in Martin County, Indiana, August 25, 1853. He was the son of Wm. and Jane Wood Love. His childhood and early manhood were spent on the farm.
He was married to Miss Anna Johnson in 1874. To them nine children were born, of whom six with his wife, survive him. In 1899 he joined the Methodist church at this place and was converted. In his family he was kind and pleasant. To his friends he was truthful, obliging and jovial. His ready wit kept his family and friends from knowing how deep were his sorrows when reverses in fortune and health came.
Besides his wife and six children he leaves a sister and three brothers. He died June 3, 1903, after an illness of six days.
