Henry A. Grey, 80, of 59 N. Champlain St. died early Friday morning at the medical center hospital after a short illness.
He had been a general superintendent for a 20 year period with the Wright & Morrissey Construction Co. in Burlington and was later employed by Freeman, French, & Freeman as an architect superintendent. He retired in 1960. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union 1487. He was born in Essex, N.Y. Sept. 10, 1896, the son of William and Lena (Spaulding) Grey. He was married in 1923 to the former Lena Farfellow and he resided in Burlington for 51 years.
Besides his wife, Lena, he leaves one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Theresa) Morton, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. in the Cathedral Parish Center. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Ready Funeral Home, South Chapel 261 Shelburne St.
