Trace Lind, 89, of Tioga, North Dakota died Wednesday evening, August 10, 2011 at the Tioga Medical Center in Tioga, ND.
Trace Annette Lind was born July 28, 1922 in Williston, North Dakota to Matthew and Celia (Hickel) Daniel. She was raised and educated in Ray, North Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith.
On July 6, 1946 she was united in marriage to Carl Lind at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Ray. The couple made their home southwest of Tioga where they raised their three children. The couple farmed and raised small grains. The couple retired in 1970 and moved into Tioga where she has resided since.
She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
Trace is survived by her sons, Donald (Martha) Lind of Tioga, ND and Steven (Colette) Lind of Princeton, MN; daughter, Paula Dezfuli of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Reese, Jessica, Chalice, Dustin and Carl; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Merrick, Dale and Devin; and sister, Gertrude Weyrauch of Barnesville, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl; and brother Walter Daniel.
