Thomas Bernard "Bill" Caldwell, age 86, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 at Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Center. He was born on August 22, 1924 in Marion County, KY. Mr. Caldwell was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired employee of General Motors Company in Dayton, Ohio, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by: Parents- Mark Thomas and Susan Emma Ryan Caldwell; 5 Brothers- James Ernest, Joseph Abbott, William Cletus, John Delmar, and Francis Mark Caldwell; Sister- Mary Josephine Abell. Survivors Include: Wife- Mary Rita Spalding Caldwell- Lebanon, KY.; Son- Phillip Spalding Caldwell, Indianapolis, IN.; Sister- Mary Elizabeth (John) Browning- Louisville, KY. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment in St. Augustine Church Cemetery. Visitations will be held from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 Tuesday evening by Deacon Joe Dant.
