Thomas Roy Fisher, age 84, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2004, at Russellville Hospital.
Mr. Fisher lived all his life in Franklin County and was a member of Tharptown Baptist Church. He sang with several quartets that originated from members of the Tharptown Baptist Church. He worked several years at Shook & Fletcher Mining Company and was a retired self-employed carpenter. Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Benjamin and Susie Lee Fisher.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2004, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chip Martin officiating
Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Opal H. Fisher; two sons, Charles Thomas Fisher and wife Linda, of Russellville, and Carl Dean Fisher and wife Jean, of Russellville; five grandchildren, Tish Hollimon and husband Terry, Suzanne Borden and husband Chris, Jennifer McCalpin and husband Tracy, Ben Fisher and wife Tina, and Justin Fisher; six great-grandchildren, Adam Christopher Borden, Taylor Mae Hollimon, Carley Grace McCalpin, Trenton Lee Hollimon, Adrianna Denise Borden, and Jonah Thomas Fisher; and several nieces and nephews.
