Jacob Reed, a well-known citizen, passed away at Good Samaritan hospital Wednesday morning at 2 o'clock, aged 66 years, 6 months and 22 days.
He is survived by his widow: five sons, Dave of Lindsey, Lewis of Beach Park, Armond of Lorain, Emery and Martin Reed of this city; four daughters, Martin Winkel of Elmore, Mrs. Hattie Toft of Cleveland, Mrs. Nicholas Lehr of Strassburg, Mich., and Miss Sophia Reed of this city; fourteen grandchildren, three brothers, Peter and William of Lindsey and John of Fremont; one sister, Mrs. Jack Paden of Lindsey.
Funeral services will be held at the residence of his son, Emery Reed, 117 Cowdry St, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Theo. Stellhorn officiating. Interment will be made in Oakland cemetery.

The funeral of Jacob Reed which was to have been held Friday afternoon was postponed until Saturday afternoon due to the storm. Autos which had been engaged were not equipped with chains and could not be used.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock at the residence of his son, Emery Reed, Cowdry St.
