Ruth was the daughter of Alexander and Eliza Miller White. She was married to Newton Gilbert Sims on April 21, 1881 in Greene Co., PA. They had two children, William Alexander Sims and Bernice Eliza Sims, (my grandmother). She lived most of her life in Marshall Co., W. Va. moving to Washington after 1900.
