Funeral services for Zack Green were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 O'clock at
Franklin memorial Chapel. Rev. O. C. Slaughter and Rev. Deny Burchett officiated and burial was in Leiper's Fork Cemetery. Mr. Green died Saturday in Williamson County Hospital.
He was a native of Williamson County. He was a retired farmer and operated a restaurant on East Main Street for several years. He was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Lofton Green; one daugher, Mrs. Howard Byrd of Franklin; four sisters, Mrs. Jasper Moore and Mrs. Giles Givens of Franklin, Mrs. Dewel Hulsey of White House Tenn., Mrs. Dowell King of Detroit, Mich.,; and two brothers, Jim Green of Franklin and George Green of Fairview, and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were George Hulsey, G. A. Green, Kenneth Green, Wallace Givens, John Moore, James Lofton, Walter Demonbreum, and Edward Poteete. Franklin Memorial Chapel, funeral directors in charge.
Zack married Ruth Kennedy (Canady/Canida) 17 March 1923 in Davidson County, Tennessee.
