Richard George Crisp age 86 of Ashland, Ohio died on Sunday August 7, 2011 after a lengthy illness.

He was born Feb 25, 1925 to George Thomas Crisp and Ferril Margaret (Christensen) Crisp. The oldest of 11 children. He spent his early life on the Crisp Farm west of Spring City attended School in Spring City, Utah.

Richard Served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Richard served a mission in Ohio where he meet his wife Marlene. He married May 11, 1951 to Virginia Marlene Paramore in the Manti Tample. The were married 60 Years. Richard had a deep love for his family and for the Gospel.

He lived in many places during his lifetime.

Richard always worked hard and had his own construction company for many years where he build many churches. He moved to Utah for several years working with his brother.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Jeff (Terri) Crisp, Glenna Dahl, Loretta (Jim) Griffin, Brian Crisp; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Norma) Crisp, Ted (Marilyn) Crisp, Morris (Jean) Crisp; sisters, Marion Rosquist Lorenson, Colleen Paxman, Dorothy Forbes, Rose (Vernon) Bosh.

He was preceded in death by his son in law, Warren Dahle and daughter in law, Michelle Crisp, granddaughter Janice; brothers, Donald Crisp, Bill Crisp and sister Phyllis Crisp.

Viewing was held at the Eastman Funeral Home, Askland, Ohio.

Funeral Services to be held in Spring City, Utah on August 13, 2011 at 12:00 noon with a viewing an hour prior in the Spring City LDS 2nd Ward Chapel.

Interment at the Spring City Cemetery.
