Irene Louise Rabe passed away March 2, 2003 in Seguin at the age of 84. Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Cross United Church of Christ with Rev. Alan Coe officiating. Interment San Geronimo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m., Monday at Goetz Funeral Home. Irene was born Sept. 21, 1918, in Guadalupe County to Fred and Emma Beutnagel. She married Henry Rabe on Jan. 20, 1937, in Seguin. She was a member of Cross United Church of Christ. Mrs. Rabe is survived by her children Richard Louis Rabe and wife Mary of Pensacola, Fla., Grace Ilene Rabe Point Comfort, Texas Gladys Ann Rabe of San Antonio, and Larry Wayne Rabe and wife Lynda of Seguin; sisters Adelaide Phillips of Seguin and Sylvia Pfullmann of Seguin; granddaughters Kimberly Kolarik and husband David of Maryville, Tenn. and Karin Rabe and husband Matt Gaffron of Cheektowaga, New York; three great grandchildren Kaitlin, Kallie and Cameron Kolarik of Tenn. and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry George Rabe.
