Mrs. Frances (Betty) McHenry, age 54, passed away January 8, 6 PM, following a prolonged illness. Survivors - husband, John W. McHenry; two sons, Wiley and Cletus McHenry, two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Lee and Mrs. Ida Bufkin, both of Quitman, four brothers, Frank, Alonzo, Joe, Sammie and Bessemer Harris, three grandchildren. Funeral services held Sunday, 10 January 10, 11 AM, Elim Baptist church with the pastor, Rev. L. T. Dyess officiating, assisted by Rev. John Morgan. Interment in church cemetery. McClellan and Walters Funeral Home in charge.
