Iver E. Jones

Funeral services for Iver E. Jones, 640 Pleasant Ave., will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints in Bremerton. He died Friday, July 5th at his residence.

Born Nov. 2, 1900, in Wyoming, he lived in Montana and worked for the Anaconda Cooper Co. for 11 years before moving to Kitsap County in 1938. He had lived in Bremerton and Port Orchard for the past 37 years and had worked
at the Puget Sounds Naval Shipyatds, retiring as a quartermaster welder in 1961. Mr. Jones was a member of F&AM and the William H. Upton Lodge, Bremerton.

He is survived by a son Earl H. Jones, of Anchorage, Alaska, sister, Mrs. Eva Moore and Mrs. Mary M. Way, both of Montana; brother, Sherd "Buck" Jones, Tacoma; nine
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Internment at Sunset Lane Cemetery, Port Orchard, will follow Tuesday's services.
