"Mr. John Beckwith, son of Mrs. Orville Beckwith, of La Jolla, California, and his sister, Miss Luzenia, are here for a few days on their way east. John Beckwith goes to New York, where he will enter a preparatory school for entrance to Yale, and Miss Luzenia will enter a girl's school at Chevy Chase, Washington, D. C. While here they are guests of their relatives, Miss Martha McClure and the A. B. Porter families."
