Funeral services for John William Terry, 71, of 4645 Brookdale, retired produce dealer, will be at 3:30 p.m. today Cage-Mills Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. J K Ader, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.
Terry died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in a local hospital after a brief illness. He had lived here 27 years.
Surviving are his wife, Priscilla; two sons, John D. of Corpus Christi and James W of La Mesa, N.M.; six daughters, Mrs Ralph Keys, Mrs M E Foy, Mrs W J Stanford, Mrs J D Stringer, and Mrs Jim Taylor, all of Corpus Christi, and Mrs J J Califa, of Kingsville; a brother, David of Monroe, Okla.; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Schroeder, John H Strickland, E C Campbell, John Gantz, John H Strickland, Jr. and Tommy Scott.
