He was born to Benjamin and Mary Caroline West Tucker.

He married Mary Jane Dollar 17 Nov 1869 in Ashe, North Carolina.

Together they had the following children; Worth, Loretta, Florence, Lillard, and Dillard Tucker.

Mary Jane died just 4 1/2 months after the birth of her last child.

About 3 months later on 26 Oct 1876 in Ashe, North Carolina, Moses married Mary Jane's sister Emeline Dollar 26 Oct 1876 in Ashe, North Carolina.

Together they had the following children; Ida, William, Jennie, Benjamin, Moses, and Andrew Mason Tucker.

About 1893 they came to Cleveland, Emery County, Utah.
On December 16th, 1905, at the age of 58 years, he was run over by a horse and died from internal injuries.

He was buried in the Tucker Family Cemetery in Cleveland, Utah on December 20th 1905.
