She was born January 5, 1926 in Salt Lake City to Paul and Pauline Ipson McQuarrie.
She married Kenneth Arthur Johnson on May 31. 1947 in Las Vegas and it was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kenneth passed away in 1980. She married Dale Terry Anderson in 1981.
She grew up on a ranch near Park City area, graduated from West High School and attended BYU. She raised six kids. She served the LDS Church in many capacities. She especially enjoyed music and participated in many choirs. She retired from Granite School District.
After retirement, she enjoyed traveling by motorcycle, dune buggy, cruise ship, camper, or hot air balloon. She loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.
Survived by her children: Loreen R. (Ronald) Sjoblom, Allen K. (Cynthia) Johnson, Jeaneen L. Johnson, Wayne L. (Debi) Johnson, Cindy A. (Lynn) Richards, Dean Arthur (Lisa) Johnson. Sisters-in-law Rosalind Henneman, Lorraine Self, brothers-in-law Curtis (Mary) Johnson, Jed (Joyce) Anderson. Grandchildren: Randy, Toni, Serena, Eric, Tanya, Valerie, Rick, Blake, Melissa, Christopher, Elizabeth, Alexis, Eleanore, and Ryan. Six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Helen Gagon, Ruth Winder, Virginia Swenson, and husbands Kenneth Johnson, Dale Anderson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Millstream Ward Chapel, 3400 South 1100 East. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.
