Carrie's death was noted in the Seattle Daily Times on 18 Jan. 1961. "Ex-Governor's Daughter Dies. bellingham, Jan. 18. – (A.P.) – Mrs. Carrie R. Hall, 91, last surviving daughter of former Gov. John R. Rogers, died in a Bellingham hospital last night. Rogers was the state's third governor, serving from 1897 to 1901."
