Elias Blood of Buck Creek, who died of a heart attack at the St. Elizabeth hospital in Lafayette last Sunday night, was the father-in-law of a Mulberry girl, Hazel Garrison Blood. The son, S/Sgt. Manuel Blood, whose marriage to Miss Garrison took place about a year ago, is with the Army Medical Corps in New Guinea. Mr. Blood's death followed that of his wife, the former Mamie Fetterhoff, by three weeks.
Mrs. Hazel Blood is employed as bookkeeper at the long distance telephone exchange in Lafayette.
