Annie Determan was the first wife of August Fred Determan (Married January 8, 1903). She and August lost a son, Williman in 1915 due to a couple who fraudulently treated their sick boy. Annie was herself, ill at the time with a sore throat. She was so ill she could not attend her 17 month old boy's funeral. She died in October 1916, and it is believed she died early that month. The newspaper says she was very ill on the 2nd, and the story of her funeral was on the sixth of October in the Edwardsville Intelligencer. She is buried at Woodlawn, along with her baby, Williman.
