Mr. Marvin Junior Easley, age 81 of Crockett, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2011 at Community Care in Crockett. Mr. Easley was born April 26, 1930 in Houston County on the Murray Farm Sand Ridge to John Daniel Easley and Eva Perkins Easley. Mr. Easley met and married Evelyn Johnson January 30, 1953 to this union five children were born. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his sons William Dan Easley and wife Rita, of Porter Springs, Marvin Wayne Easley and wife Michelle, of Latexo and John Marvin Easley, of Crockett; daughter Judy Ann Easley, of Crockett; brother Julian Ramirez; sisters Dell Wolf, of Jacksonville, Helen Kilpatrick and Bobbie Easley, both of Crockett; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents John Daniel Easley and Eva Perkins Easley; wife Evelyn Johnson Easley; daughter Wanda Chance; sisters Margaret Fritzgerald and Wanda Faye; brothers Earl Easley, Jessie Easley; Elvis Easley and Billy Ray Easley.
Funeral Services for Mr. Marvin Junior Easley were held Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Percilla Evergreen Church in Percilla with the Rev. Dewayne Thornton officiating. Interment followed Percilla Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Omelina, Pete Miles, George Easley, Curtis Lockhart, Danny Dise and Jerry Dise. Family Mortuary
