William E Kenney dies Monday, rites Wednesday, seven children, sister, 16 grandchildren survivie:
William Edward Kenney, 82, succombed at 1:50 p.m., Monday, December 5, in Paxton Community Hospital where he had been confined a short time...Born Nov. 20, 1867 at McNabb in Putnum Co., IL, a son of Mary Phelps and John Fletcher Kenney, Mr Kenney moved in 1872 to Wall twsp with his family. He was married to Jeanie McNeish in 1899 and from 1902 to 1919 they resided on their own farm in Wall. Mr Kenney was also in the implement business in Loda and Paxton 1919 to 1934 after which he went into retirement. (1940 boards with W. Judkins as does daughter Myrtle Tielman).

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters, and his wife...children of the couple surviving are four daughters:

Mrs A. H. Benscoater of Kankakee
Mrs Walter Tarvin of Loda
Mrs Allen Sapora of Champaign
three sons:
Mahlon W. of Oak Park
Harold E. of Urbana
