Mrs. Lybrand, 90, of Aiken, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at the Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She and her late husband moved to Aiken in 1945. She was a longtime member of the Aiken First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, and had worked at the Warneke Cleaners and the Masonic Center Florist over the years. She might best be known for her job as the "Official Greeter" at the Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center, where she had been a resident.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Lybrand, in 1993; her parents, Murray & Mary Alma Brown Morrison; a brother, and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda, and her husband, Roddy Busby, Montmorenci; four grandchildren, Wes Cadden, Nick Busby, Sandy Bernhardt, & John Vaughn; four great-grandchildren, Chas Cadden, Hailey Cadden, Cole busby, & Maven Rose busby, and two great-great-grandchildren, Kayla Marie Cadden & Christian Barton.

Interment followed funeral services conducted Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the George Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Aiken, with Revs. Cathy Cole, David Holdman, & Jason Geier officiating.

Pallbearers were Wes Cadden, Nick Busby, Chas Cadden, Cole Busby, Henry Lowe, Brian Holdman, Ronald Tuten, Kraig Holdman, Chris Barton, & Brian Mims.
