Miss Adeline Shipp Cubbage
OWENTON, March 3 --- Miss Adeline Shipp Cubbage, 58, of Owenton died Friday at Norton Infirmary, Louisville, after several months illness. She was a graduate of Georgetown College and received her master's degree at the University of Kentucky. For a few years she taught in Georgetown elementary schools and later taught at the Ruth Moyer School at Ft. Thomas for 24 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Owenton.
She is survived by a brother, Dr. Otto Cubbage, Eminence; five sisters, Miss Lilly Cubbage and Mrs. Margaret Jack Redding, Owenton; Mrs. W. H. Sand, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. G. C. Sandusky, Owensboro, and Mrs. Luther Lancaster, Pleasureville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Smither-Coates Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
