He was the son of James Jenkins b 1808 and Agnes Wallace b about 1815.

James was the s/o James Jenkins and Agnes Wallace. James married Margaret Williamson. James and Margaret had at least 7 children in order: Agnes, Margaret, James, John, William, Mary and Anne. In 1901 he had in house a niece and nephew Isabelle age 4 & James Adam age 7 (years of mo?)
