He was born Oct. 16, 1913 in Madisonville, the son of John James Wilder and May Viola Risinger Wilder.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, his parents, eight brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his son, Tom Wilder of Huntsville; sister, Truby Smoot of Iola; brother, Carl Wilder of New Caney; sister-in-law, Patsy McGaughey of Livingston; and special friend, Erleen Payne of Livingston.
Pallbearers were Greg Ogletree, Kenneth Baker, Red Payne, Paul Mac Galloway, Harold Isaacs and Clint Ferguson.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
