She was born in North Kansas City, Mo, the daughter of Anderson and Sarah Priddle-Carey.
Ileta was a member of the new home Baptist Church. She had made her home in the lake area since 1969 when she and her buisness partner, Katherine Kauffman left Kansas City and came to the lake to open the Katydid restaurant and lounge.
Survivors include caregivers, John R and Deronda D Carey, nieces and nephews, Steve and Jodi Carey of Kanass City, Kan, Jackie Lee and Barbara A Cary of Skwenta, Alaska, Robert j & Linda Carey of Tonganoxie, Kansas, June Gutierrez of Sonora, Calif, Elizabeth R Reece of Pleasonton, Kansas, and Richard Alley of San Diego.
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Saturday Aug 8, 1998 at the Mistwood Gardens Cemetery in Camdenton.
Memorial gifts have been suggested to the American Cancer Society.
