FROSTBURG - Mrs. Mary Ann McKenzie, 73, of Star Route, Frostburg, died Tuesday, March 29, 1988, at Cumberland Memorial Hospital. Born July 7, 1914, at Vale Summit, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Teresa (Lickar) Urbas. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Frostburg. Surviving are her husband, Gerald M. McKenzie; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Anne Rizer, Frostburg; six sisters, Mrs. Helen Hardesty, Springs, Pa.; Mrs. Rose Stakem, Midland; Mrs. Nettie Kelly, Lonaconing; Mrs. Margaret Arnold, Vale Summit; Mrs. Dorothy Warnick, New Germany; and Mrs. Elizabeth McKinley, Hagerstown; three brothers, Anton Urbas, Vale Summit; John Urbas, Deal, Pa.; and William Urbas, Midland; and two grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg. Services will be conducted Friday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home by Msgr. John L. Reinsfelder. Interment will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Avilton. A Christian wake service will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 3 p.m. Pallbearers will be John McGowan, John Urbas, Guywayne Hardesty, Wayne Bolden, Eugene Michaels, and William Kelly.
