Edw. C. Ferguson Dies Sunday
Edward Cleveland Ferguson, 80, 609 S. Spring St. died Sunday at the Daviess County Hospital. He had been ill for three months and seriously ill ten days.
He was born November 15, 1884, in Daviess county a son of Marion and Emma (heise) Ferguson. He was married on Nov. 4, 1911 to Susie Catherine Humerickhouse, and she survives. Mr. Ferguson, a retired farmer, was a member of the Odon E.U.B. Church and Newberry F. & A.M. Lodge No. 166.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three children; Macil Ferguson, Mrs. Maxine Moire, and Mrs. Wilma Chestnut, of Odon; a sister, Pearl Ferguson, Washington; 19 grand-children and 12 great-grand-children. A son, Paul, died in 1952.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Odon E.U.B. Church with internment in Walnut Hill cemetery. Rev. Wilson Lovell and Rev. R.P. Hawkins were in charge.
