George Garrison married 1st Leah Louise Lewis on 24 June 1847 in Lewisburg, Preble Co, Ohio. After her death he married Elizabeth Bowman on 18 July 1875 in Paulding Co, Ohio. Elizabeth was the daughter of Jacob Bowman and Mary Fickle and was the sister of John Bowman who married her step-daughter Eliza Ann Garrison. Elizabeth Bowman and George Garrison had one daughter - Mary Amanda Garrison. Leah was the mother of all the other children of George Garrison.
