WILLIAM MORRISON TAKEN BY DEATH

William Bert Morrison, 70, died Thursday night at Community hospital after a lingering illness. He was born in Tennessee. In 1911, he married Myrtle Burnette at Whitwell, Tenn. The family came to the Keeler area in 1933 and has resided on the Burnette farm west of the village. Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Eddy (Nellie) Robbins of Keeler, Mrs. Donald (Mildred) Straw of Hartford and Mrs. James (Hazel) Dale of Decatur; two sons, Aggie at home and James, also of Keeler; 15 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a brother, David Morrison of Woodwell, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Lila Rogers of Norris City, Ill., Mrs. Della Kelly of Burlingham, Ala., and Mrs. Lizzie Smith of Woodwell, Tenn.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Calvin chapel at Hartford with the Rev. Guy Udell, pastor of the Full Gospel Assembly, officiating. Burial was in the Keeler cemetery. Casket bearers were Irvin Davis, Chester Davis, George Hall, Clarence Ruple, H. J. McFarlin and Robert Gattis.
