Mrs. Mary "Sis" Nobles, age 76 of Meeks died Tuesday, February 11,2014. Mrs. Nobles was born in Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson and Pearl Love Wilcher, husband, T. L. Nobles, brother, John Wilcher and sister, Mildred Barrett. She was retired from Apparel Craft, Wrightsville. She attended Trinity Baptist Church, Meeks. Survivors include her sister, Martha Horton of Byron, brothers, James Wilcher, George Wilcher, and Newborn Wilcher, all of Adrian, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, at 2 p.m. Friday, February 14 with Pastor Solomon Horton officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery, Emanuel County.
