Martha M. (Davidson) Lindsey was the third wife of Rev. John A. Lindsey (his first two wives had died). She was the daughter of Caleb and Martha Elizabeth (Glazebrook) Davidson.

Martha and John were married October 12, 1858 and had three children: Cora (b. February 10, 1862; John Clarence, b. 1864); and Della Mae Lindsey (b. May 8, 1866).
