Mrs. Ellen Garland, 87, years old, widow of Job L. Garland, deceased, McConnellsburg, PA., former sheriff of Fulton County, PA., died on Sunday morning, June 19, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irene M. Karns of Cumberland, Md. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Fanny Yonker Barry of Fulton County. She is also survived by a son, William R. Garland of York, Pa., and by seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at Cedar Grove and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Funeral services were in charge of Rev. J. W. Leggett of the M. E. Church South, of Cumberland, Md.
