N. W. BAKER (1918-1995) was the son William Franklin "Willie" Baker (1897-1966) and Nannie Mae Timmons (1898-1918). He was to be named Norman William, but the initials were all that made it to his birth certificate, thus N.W. was his legal name. However, he went by Norman. He married Ardy Maxine Boyd the daughter of John Alfred Terry Boyd (1884-1959) and Mary Katherine Webb (1883-1961). According to US WWII Army Enlistment Records, he enlisted 4 Apr 1941 at Fort Sam Houston, TX. The couple had two sons. He died at the age 77 in Dallas, Texas.
