MISHAWAKA - Edward D. Kulczar, 59, passed away on Saturday, July 31st, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. He was born on January 23, 1951, in Mishawaka, and had resided in the Michiana area his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Frank and Maxine (Wentland) Kulczar.
On March 5, 1968, in South Bend, Edward married his loving wife, Kathy L. (McIntyre) Kulczar, who survives. Mr. Kulczar leaves behind three daughters, Judy L. Kulczar of South Bend, Linda A. Grove of South Bend and Debbie L. (Steve) Rupert of Rock Hill, SC; a son, David E. (Adriane) Kulczar of Fort Wayne; sisters, Nada (Mel) Hemming of Rockford, IL, and Donna Jean (Kent) Gates of South Bend; three brothers, Earl Kulczar of Bremen, Larry (Karen) Kulczar of Mishawaka and Jim (Pam) Kulczar of Troup, TX; and five grandchildren.
He was employed as a laborer at Versatile Fabrication in Elkhart at the time of his passing. Edward loved being with his family very much, as well as his dogs. He also enjoyed barbecuing and playing darts.
Visitation hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4th, in Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/SR 23 in South Bend. There will be no funeral services. Cremation will take place after the visitation. Memorial contributions may be made at any Notre Dame Federal Credit Union in care of Judy L. Kulczar or Linda A. Grove. The HANLEY & SONS "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled the arrangements and services and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Kulczar family.
