Statesboro - Mrs. Susie Mae Whitefield Odom, 89, died March 19 at Bulloch Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Bulloch County. She was a deaconess and choir member of Thomas Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors: four daughters, Mildred Wilkerson and Almarita Hendley, both of Statesboro, Juanita and Ruby Odom, both of Boston; a son, Bruce Odom Jr. of Statesboro; two sisters, Mae Bell Murray and Lillie Mae Humphries, both of Statesboro; a brother, Theodore Whitefield of Statesboro; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Thomas Grove Baptist Church, burial in Eastside Cemetery.
