Heather Haugh May 20, 1975 - July 22, 2011 Plainfield - Heather Haugh, 36, of Plainfield, entered eternal peace on Friday, July 22, 2011 in her Plainfield home. Heather was born on May 20, 1975 in San Diego CA, the beloved daughter of Tena and Jeff Geisinger of Plainfield. Heather was predeceased by her Pops, Glenn Geisinger and her maternal grandparents Wade and Vera Blanton. She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Tena Geisinger of Plainfield, her brother Buzz Haugh of SC, loving life partner April Paris and in-laws Charlie, Debbie & Kevin. Grandmother Constance and the Geisinger family. Nita Blount and Sherry Lambert, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and her special little ones, Morgan, Katie, Malachi, Dominic & Michael. Heather was known for her infectious laughter, radiant smile, sense of humor, love for life, kindness to her family and friends, and her caring for animals. She was truly adored by all who knew her, a pure and gentle soul. Heather enjoyed traveling, music, photography, riding her motorcycle, gardening, and hiking. Heather especially had countless places in her heart for our feline and canine friends personally assisting them to better health and at times made sure they were linked with animal rescue shelters. Throughout the years she volunteered her time to help those in need. Her volunteer efforts included traveling to New Orleans to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina through the Red Cross, work at local animal shelters and she was part of Project 1 and 10 when it formed and later helped run the group. Above all Heather had a zest for life always caring for others, wanting to help them and would go to any measure to do so. Heather enjoyed showing people there is always a "brighter side" to every situation. She was a very motivational and inspirational individual who only wanted peace for all. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in Heathers Memory to your local humane society. A service will be held Friday, July 29th from 6PM-8PM at Dougherty Brothers Funeral Home at 595 Norwich Road, Plainfield.
