MOODY – Susie A. Moody, 91, of Marriottsville, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at Westminster Nursing Center.
Born February 5, 1912, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Randolph and Bertha Wallace Beach. Twice married, she was the wife of the late Lawrence Leslie Moody and the late William O. Moody. She had been a homemaker for most of her life.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Lawrence Lester and Margaret Moody of Marriottsville; grandchildren Susan Shown of Sykesville, Bill Moody and Janice Feaga, both of Marriottsville, and Mark Moody of Sykesville; and great-grandchildren Mitchell Shown, Jody, Travis, and Daniel Feaga, and Billy and Missy Dearing. She was predeceased by siblings Sam, Paul, John, and Lewis Beach, Icie Platt, Mae Jenkins, and Annie Beach.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday at Haight Funeral Home and Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 95 Carroll Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
