Alton Don Edwards was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and dear Friend to many people, most importantly his family. He was a member of the United States Army and served in the U.S. Army Nov. 1942-Nov 1945. Was stationed at Camp Roberts, CA.; Fort Lawton, Washington; Kodiak, Alaska; Camp Carson, Colorado; Columbia; So. Carolina; Pittsburgh; California, and Durham, Virginia.
Alton was the head herdsmen at the Sunshine Ranch in Steele, ND with his wife and children for many years until their retirement in 1970. In his retirement years, Alton and his Wife Margaret spent their final years helping watch after their grandchildren. Their love and commitment to family proved to be the glue of the Edwards & Kelsch families. Alton Edwards' passed away and his last wishes were to have his ashes scattered among st their family estate in Pick City, ND. Alton's memory lives on in his children and grand children until this day.
