Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Idell Sauer, 75, were held Monday at 1:30 at the Lewisville ward chapel, with Bishop Gale Clement, presiding and Bishop Wilburn Frandsen, conducting.

Mrs. Sauer died November 21st in an Idaho Falls hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had lived in Seattle until recently.

She was born October 23, 1894 at Grant, Idaho, a daughter of Lyman Amasa Taylor and Maria Done Taylor. She had been almost a life long resident of Idaho, and had lived in Dillon and Idaho Falls. She married Henry W. Sauer, June 25, 1919 and they had a temple marriage in the Logan Temple, December 6, 1922.

She was an organist in various church organizations, a teacher in Primary, Visiting Teacher, Relief Society and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a Gold Star mother. Her son Keith, was killed in action in World War II, and her husband also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Mrs. Willard (Shirley) Gerard, Lewisville; Doane and Merle Sauer, Seattle; a brother and two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Elma) Wilkins, Rigby; Russel Taylor, Lorenzo, Rt. 1, Mrs. Warren (Leone) Robinson , Heyburn, Idaho. There are 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
The services were directed by the Eckersell Funeral Home.
