SCOTTSVILLE — Lavenia Jones Cox, 79, of Scottsville died at 12:30 a.m. Jan. 26, 2004, at The Medical Center. The Macon County, Tenn., native was a homemaker and General Baptist. She was a daughter of the late Charles Edward Jones and Amanda Susan Humphrey Jones. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby and Jerry Michael Cox; a sister, Corine Cook; and a brother, Lloyd Jones.
