DOROTHY SNAPP ELLIS, age 90, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Cynthiana and Brooksville, Kentucky, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006. Born in Bourbon County, Kentucky, on May 6, 1915, to the late Ora Lee and Hattie Mattox Snapp, she was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cynthiana and a former member of the Neave United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Strother Ellis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Neave United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Moore & Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville and 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Neave Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Neave United Methodist Church.
