Mrs. Stanford B. Weaver, died Monday evening at her home in Windfall. She had been ill for quite some time. Mary (Hook) Weaver, known to all her many friends as Mollie, was born in Van Wert, Ohio, March 5, 1862, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Emmon Hook. She was married when a young woman to Fred Griffin and by this marriage there is a surviving duaghter, Mrs. Grace McDowell, wife of Rome McDowell. Her second marriage was to Sanford Weaver, former asscessor of Wildcat township. Mrs. Weaver was a resident of Windfall for many years. She was an active member of the Windfall Christian church. Besides the daughter and husband, Mrs. Weaver is survived by a half-brother, J.O. Zehner, and two half-sisters, Mrs. George Summers and Mrs. James Harris, and two grandchildren, all of Windfall. Mrs. Weaver's mother, who was twice married, is also surviving and resides in Windfall, she being Mrs. Rosina P. Zehner, The mother, whose maiden name was Davis, is 88 years of age and has been a resident of Windfall since 1855.
